Project Worth Sharing

As most of you know I work for an interior design firm as an office manager/project coordinator/design assistant
I generally do not post pictures of the work we produce as I am not always the one making the decisions
However, I can't pass up sharing this beauty of a home in Atherton!
I have been involved in this project for the last three or so years and we are in the starting stages of working on this clients new home they have decided to build using William Anderson Interiors from the very get go

I love working for William as he has taught me the most incredible things, opened my eyes to old world design while keeping his aesthetics contemporary and alive
He is incredible with colour and I am so fortunate to work so closely with him!

Take a peek into this home, I know you'll enjoy it!

28 Week Update!

28 Week Baby Bump

Image - HERE

Baby's Size?: An eggplant (not my favorite veggie to say the least)
Due Date?: June 16th
Total weight gained/lost: We shall see April 11th! My guess? 17lbs (eek)
Exercise this Week?: Pilates 2 times and smaller dog walks
Maternity Clothes?: Yes and LOVING my leggings!
Stretch Marks?: No thank goodness, but I have not skipped a day of moisturizing like crazy!
Belly Button?: Still in
Wedding Rings On/Off?: On but not after a walk, my fingers are little sausages, like those nasty viena kind!
Sleep?: Getting there... still crappy but better. Got that Leachco Back n Belly pillow but haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet!
Best Moment of the Week: Seeing my Mimi at her 80th B-day party and meeting my cousins new babies, Dominic and Hailey - SO SO SO super sweet. 6 and 7 weeks old! :)
Movement?: Tons and tons and loving it!
Food Craving?: Strawberries
Food aversions?: None anymore
Morning Sickness?: None, just heartburn now!
Gender?: Boy - Baby Tate Reynold
What I Miss?: A cold margarita
What I am Looking Forward to?: Again finishing up the nursery and meeting my little Tater Tot

This week I have really felt as if there truly is another body I am carrying around
I mean, obviously I've know he's there, but now he makes it so apparent and my belly just sticks out there!
I can't wait to meet this little man, I can tell he's going to be so happy
He responds to me singing my daily "Good Morning sweet peas" song to the pups every morning, he enjoys the patter of the shower water on my belly like I do on my head, and he even gets antsy pants when I sit still for too long
This boy is mine!
Dad is over the moon excited, he literally beams when he speaks of his son, it's as if nothing in the world matters but me and Tate even if we hog the bed, toss all night and have THE worst gas in the world
This is a great year so far and I am overly blessed!

I hope this week is a wonderful one for you!

Lovin' Stella and Dot Right Now!

I hate when this happens
Stella and Dot has THE cutest things for Spring that I can totally see myself wearing throughout the entire year
I have these things on my Wish List this time around and I am dying for them!
What not a better way to deter the eyes from my growing thighs?
Jewels!

Take a peeksy at my faves!

Enjoy,
Tori

This is still my absolute favorite necklace I got from Stella & Dot last year!
I get compliments on it all the time and it looks great with a t-shirt or gown
A lot of people comment on how it reminds them of Caroline's necklace in the show Two Broke Girls too!

BEST Maternity Leggings Ever!

If you recall, I praised Lulu Lemon for their wondrous Wunder Under crops as my staple uniform during pregnancy - well that was until Baby Tate decided to really make his appearance
Until Monday I was still sporting my Lulu's almost every day, but was growing tired of them constantly rolling down in front because of the belly
I ordered these fabulous leggings at Motherhood Maternity and am in love!
So, with out further ado, here they are and here is my mini fashion show/inventory project of how to wear them and what's in my closet now!:

Mini Nursery Update

I am ever so happy to report that we have finally finished painting the little pea's nursery!
It only took him/us four plus weeks but hey! it's done!
Paint colour is Benjamin Moore Old Navy and the dresser is an antique Birdseye maple piece that will double as a changing table - it cae Friday from a very nice woman on Craigslist (thank you, Donna!)
The funky vintage brass lamp I found at a thrift shop in Incline Village last Tahoe trip up... Need to find a white linen shade for it - love the gold but not quite what I had in mind for my little future hunters retreat!

So far so good, right?

Hope you all had a nice weekend!
Can't wait to update you with more fun things as they trickle in, stay tuned...

I swear I had no intention of posting all striped dresses, clearly I love me some stripes!
Last one is adorable, but only so you know I buy things other than stripes!

With so many showers coming up, I really miss my waistline!

Happy Spring!

Beauty Products I Cannot Live Without

There are some things I simply cannot live with out right now, and those are these glorious products:

Shampoo and Conditioner: Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle - An inexpensive and great smelling treat
Body Cleanser: Lavender Bisous de Provence at Trader Joe's -  Lavender bar soap with Shea butter and exfoliating lavender that is my five minute spa day for daily use
Perfume: Jo Malone's Vintage Gardenia - Ms. Malone, I'd give my left leg for you to bring this scent back! Please!!!!
Face Cleanser and Face Lotion: Trader Joe's Nourish Antioxidant Facial Cleanser & Conditioner - Started using this a couple months into my pregnancy when my skin changed, loving my skin again! It's very gentle but washes make-up off in seconds.
Spot Corrector: Arcona Spot Tabula Rose - This little secret weapon helps with those dark spots from old and new blemishes. I LOVE this gem!
Body Lotion: Trader Joe's Lavender Hand and Body Lotion - I've been using this no-fail treat for years, it used to be by Avalon Organics before TJ's private labeled it. The scent is light and calming, my husband loves it too!
Stretch Mark Prevention: Belli Elasticity Oil - Ummm... we shall see! This product smells great, isn't too greasy and so far so good!
Bronzer: Bobbi Brown Bronze Shimmer Brick from Nordstrom - I use bronzer year round, I think it highlights cheekbones perfectly.
Mascara: Korres Volcanic Mineral Volumizing Mascara from Sephora - I have found this to me the most gentle and easy to remove mascara. I chose this because of the rave reviews on how huge your eyelashes turn out and how the ingredients exclude parabens, dyes and all the icky stuff.
Eyelash Curler: Shu Uemera - Hands-down the best beauty tool ever, right?
Pure Tea Tree Oil: Whole Foods 365 brand - it's an affordable option and a little goes a long way. I use this for literally everything!
-For mild rashes
-As a cleaning product (mixed with baking soda, water and hydrogen peroxide)
-As an antiseptic (watered down)
-For blemishes
-As a room cleanser (diluted with water)

Birthday Celebrations

March is "it's my birthday" month in the Schuler household
I spent March 7-10 letting the birthday boy milk it, after all it is the last year our birthdays will probably be a big deal!
We enjoyed a great meal full of wackiness and jokes with our close friends we have made through the years at his work at the House of Prime Rib
You really cannot go wrong with a delicious meal from this long standing treat in San Francisco, we feast here as a family at least two times a year, it's all just too fun
Saturday evening we spent another evening with celebrating Brad and our friend Mike's birthday with close friends from home at a local restaurant, Dragon Rouge and our friends bar, The Churchward after, again too fun - the hubs was a happy man with all his closest friends acting his goofy self
These two are complete and total hams - love them!

Happy Birthday Month Mike and Brad!
